Liverpool is one of our favourite and regular destinations for headshot photography and business portraits. Whether we’re taking our own studio backgrounds or using the local environment, Liverpool is such a great place for headshot photography. It’s not only the fabulous locations, the people are usually happier to be photographed as well. Most people aren’t keen on being photographed but are willing to go along with it but for some reason, in Liverpool they seem a bit more willing to give it a go.

It’s really important to keep headshots and business portraits up to date and on trend. As fashions change our headshots must keep up otherwise we look different to our photographs and that can be surprising for people who see those photos and then dont recognise us when they meet us. ACR are very keen on black and white for their headshots and it’s a look that works well for their brand. The photos that accompany this post show the colour three quarter body business portraits in colour and in black and white along with the headshots, also in colour and black and white. We’re often asked which is better, colour or black and white? The truth is, it depends on how you want to project the image for your brand and your personal preference. It’s really as subjective as that.
